OMai ("OMai," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered operations monitoring platform for Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities, developed and operated by Biogas Engineering. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you use the OMai platform at onm.ai ("Platform").

By accessing or using OMai, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. Your use of the Platform is also subject to our Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Information: Name, business email address, job title, and company/facility name provided during onboarding.
  • Contact Information: Mobile phone numbers provided or confirmed by authorized users for the purpose of receiving SMS operational alerts.
  • Facility & Operational Data: Equipment telemetry, sensor readings, biogas production metrics, MMBTU values, alarm events, and related operational data transmitted from your RNG facility to the Platform.
  • Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken within the Platform for security and analytics purposes.
  • Communications: Records of SMS opt-in consent, opt-out requests, and support inquiries.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the OMai Platform and its features.
  • Send SMS operational alerts, equipment alarms, production updates, and maintenance reminders to authorized facility operators who have consented to receive them.
  • Generate automated reports and dashboards for facility performance monitoring.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about your account.
  • Improve and develop the Platform and its AI/analytics capabilities.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. SMS Notifications

SMS Program: OMai operates an SMS notification program that delivers real-time operational alerts to RNG facility operators and managers.

Consent: We only send SMS messages to individuals who have explicitly consented to receive them, either through a signed service agreement, a written confirmation, or a documented opt-in process during onboarding. If your number is provided by an authorized account administrator, that administrator is responsible for confirming your consent.

Message Types: Messages include equipment alarms, biogas production and MMBTU updates, maintenance reminders, and daily or periodic facility performance summaries.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your facility's operational events. You may receive multiple messages per day during active alarm conditions.

Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply START to resubscribe.

No Third-Party Sharing: Phone numbers collected for SMS notifications are never sold or rented, and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Numbers may be shared only with service providers required to deliver the SMS program.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the Platform, including cloud hosting and SMS delivery providers (such as Twilio), under strict data processing agreements.
  • Your Organization: Authorized administrators within your company who manage your facility's OMai account.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of OMai, its users, or the public.
  • Business Transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. Operational and telemetry data is retained in accordance with your service agreement. SMS consent records are retained for a minimum of 5 years or as required by applicable regulations. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the address below, subject to any legal retention obligations.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to it is controlled, and our security practices are independently audited under SOC 2 Type II. No system is completely secure; we will notify you of any breach as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, or receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@onm.ai.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
